Notes:

More and more people are using the internet to obtain information.

It is a medium that allows for storage of materials so that people can look at or read them at times that are convenient.

The current Administration has indicated strong support for increasing the reach of broadband internet access.

This will mean that more people than ever before will be able to use their computers to watch their government in action. They will be able to attend virtual meetings, ask questions, make suggestions, and, in general, be more informed and involved in all levels of government.

For groups such as the League of Women Voters, this means a tremendous opportunity to enhance voter education and to engage more people in discussions.
